The initial production facility was based in Donguan and opened its doors for output in 2006. For the 1st 6 months the business saw such an increased demand for EL that an immediate expansion plan was implemented to create a new state of the art plant. This was to enable the business to develop and improve the technology beyond the normal remit of other Chinese competitors as well as allow increased output with improved QA systems.

Today the LuminousMedia factory is located in ZhuHai (Southern China) in a 4500sqm site using some of the latest machinery for both small format volume output as well as the larger machines to accommodate the billboard market. Where possible the business maintains control of production and limits the need for outsourcing any component manufacture. The factory has purpose built R&D departments for driver design and new product development and is certified ISO 9001:2000 & 14001:2004 for quality and environmental management systems.

This is all overseen by a combined Western and Asian core team of Electrical Technicians, Quality Systems Managers, Product Engineers and Project Managers. Each one understanding the need to produce the best possible product and each one is on hand to discuss customer requirements direct.
